Great joy in Rhodt: for the third time in a row, the Alte Rebschule has been named Top Employer 2025 in the hotel industry by the renowned Schlummer Atlas. The rating "excellent" once again confirms our high quality as an employer and underlines that the Alte Rebschule is not only a special place of well-being for guests, but also offers our team an appreciative, modern, and reliable working environment.
The award ceremony took place in May 2025 in Oberursel near Frankfurt. A total of only around 40 hotels in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland were honored this year – which makes us all the more proud to once again be part of this exclusive circle of outstanding top employers in the hotel industry.
This award is above all one thing: a big thank you to our dedicated team, who make a difference every day with their passion, professionalism, and team spirit. The award as a top employer in the hotel industry is based on a large-scale personnel and employer study conducted annually by Busche Verlag with scientific support from the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) Ravensburg. Employees from the hospitality industry in German-speaking countries—a total of over two million employees—were invited to anonymously evaluate their own companies. In 2025, more than 3,600 employees from the hotel and catering industry responded to this call.
The study not only evaluated traditional criteria such as employee satisfaction, working atmosphere, and corporate culture, but also key future topics in the hotel industry. These include digitalization in the workplace, continuing education and career development, work-life balance, leadership culture, equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusion.
Alte Rebschule impressed in all areas and once again positioned itself as an excellent employer. This independent award is a strong testament to our sustainable employer quality, our modern HR strategy, and our continuous development as an attractive employer in the hotel industry.

We have been to the "Alte Rebschule" several times and it has always been TOP. Starting with breakfast, through the snack to the 4-course menu in the evening, which is always excellent. Here you can find peace and quiet from the stress of everyday life.
The Hotel Alte Rebschule near Rhodt unter Rietburg is beautifully situated in the vineyards and offers a lovely view over the Rhine plain. The room was very nice, especially large and nicely furnished. The staff were friendly and attentive.
The feel-good hotel Alte Rebschule is located on the edge of the forest with a magnificent view over the vineyards. A place to completely switch off. We had a wonderfully light-flooded seminar room. The food, the service and the rooms were excellent. We had a great yoga weekend here.
