We are the Wellness Hotel at the heart of the Southern Wine Street in the Palatinate. We are the place where you can enjoy undisturbed peace and quiet overlooking the endless sea of vines leading to the valley of the Rhine. We live in the tradition of the Palatinate, one of Germany’s most eminent wine-producing areas, we also live in the wine-making tradition of our families and also in the tradition of what the original site of the hotel used to be, namely, a viticultural college. We combine a professional approach with a sincere and personal atmosphere. We are the Wellness Team for all our guests, attentive for their every need.

And these are not just words without meaning. Our entire team has been professionally trained and is totally commited to our philosophy of treating our guests as guests. Our team leader, Sonja Schäfer, is not only a bona fide Palatinate “lass” and as such an expert in wines but also the most caring hotelier in the region surrounding Hambach Castle. Her hotel training took her to the Black Forest, her business studies and numerous trainee courses to a variety of hotels throughout Europe and all with the one goal – to set up a hotel of her own with a unique feeling of wellness.
